Private Instruction is specifically tailored to meet the individual needs of the student. Who can benefit from private sessions:

All Levels Flow - This is a 90 minute Vinyasa Flow Class designed for Beginners to Advance Practitioners. This class includes instruction in meditation and breathing techniques to help the practitioner connect on a deeper level to Spirit.

Ashtanga 1/2 Primary Series - This is an abbreviated Ashtanga style class 75min. in length with meditation and pranayama included. This class is excellent for students who are seasoned in Power Yoga or Ashtanga Primary. Beginners are welcome to attend and take modifications as needed. This is an advanced and athletic style of yoga with heat building vinyasas between poses.

Ashtanga Flow - This class is Ashtanga 1/2 Primary Series with a few more poses added in!

Ashtanga Full Primary Series - The mother or root of Power Vinyasa Yoga is a distinct set of asanas designed as the first or primary set out of 6 total sets in this yoga style. This practice is 90 minutes long. Prepare to sweat and please hydrate before and after class. This is the most Advanced of all classes at Yoga Life Studio. This class is not recommended for beginners to yoga.

Hour of Power - A slightly shorter version of our 75min Power Vinyasa class.

Mysore-Style Ashtanga - Mysore is the traditional teaching method for Ashtanga Yoga. A qualified teacher is present to provide guidance, hands-on adjustments and assistance during the practice. The class is self paced and students can hold poses longer to deepen into a specific posture. Practice time will vary depending on how many asanas have been mastered before going to finishing sequence. The Mysore instructor will let you know when you're ready to move on to the next pose. It is recommended that you have taken a led Ashtanga class prior to attending Mysore to familiarize yourself with the poses. Practice sheets are available at the studio to assist you. Drop-in rate for Mysore: $10.00 Annual/6month members can come with no additional fee.

Power Vinyasa - A high energy, athletic style of yoga with connecting movements between poses to build heat and energy. This class is great for students looking to lose weight, sculpt and tone their body, or build strength and energy. You will sweat in this class!

Prenatal Yoga - This is a great opportunity for pregnant women to bond with their growing babies and connect with other women who are experiencing the many changes of pregnancy. Yoga is extremely beneficial during pregnancy to help relieve and alleviate many pregnancy discomforts includinge neck/back pain, sciatica, wrist and hip pain, fatigue and anxiety. Kate Layman is a professional nurse midwife and long time yoga practitioner who is dedicated to educating women on labor and delivery options and how to enjoy each stage of pregnancy with a yoga practice. Women of all stages of pregnancy are welcome to take part in this class. Please bring a note from your OB for participation esp. if you have a high risk pregnancy. Drop-ins are welcome at $15.00 or you can pay for 6pk for $65.00 at the studio or online. Serenity Yoga - This class is great for beginners and seasoned students who want a restorative, healing practice with emphasis on alignment, gentle stretches, and development of a mind/body connection.

Vinyasa Basics - This class is designed for beginners looking for an athletic practice and students who would like to transition into Power yoga classes from our signature Serenity classes. This class will be heated 80-95 degrees. Prepare to sweat.
